Bio
I was born in China and have lived nearly equal parts of my life in China and abroad, including in Europe and the United States. Frequent moves during my childhood, following my parents’ careers, exposed me early on to the richness of different landscapes, cultures, and ways of being. I graduated from medical school in China, but as I journeyed through life, I discovered a deeper calling in art and nature—paths that spoke more closely to my inner world than medicine ever did.
This mosaic of experiences gradually shaped my artistic vision, with photography becoming my most instinctive and honest form of expression. My work is deeply personal—rooted in memory, emotion, and a quiet attentiveness to the world around me. Inspired by classical poetry, Eastern philosophy, and the subtle beauty found in everyday moments, I photograph not to document, but to reflect. I see photography as a way to listen with my eyes and speak without words, transforming fleeting impressions into visual meditations that bridge cultural sensibilities and invite a sense of shared stillness.
